Course Description

Recording 1: Presentation by Professor Susan Rees

She outlined the psychological therapies that are recognised as useful in working with women with prior histories of conflict-trauma that prioritise the women’s own goals and needs, consider their cultural and religious beliefs, and recognise the stages and non-linear pathways that women may take to achieve safety from violence and recovery.
